Rowena Burns at AUDE 2017: Enterprise and Innovation Districts in Manchester
On Tuesday 11th April our CEO, Rowena Burns, will be at this year’s annual AUDE conference in Manchester to talk about the city’s Innovation District and partnerships in action.
2017 marks 25 years of AUDE (the Association of University Directors of Estates) and the celebration of excellence in estates and facilities. This year will also see the third year of the AUDE Awards - one of the ways the Association continues to support and promote best practice in University Estates and Facilities.
This year, the conference will be held at Manchester Business School and we are delighted to have our CEO there to represent MSP and talk about the importance of our close partnerships with key knowledge institutions on the Corridor.
The session, at 9.15am on Tuesday, will see Rowena discuss how the most successful innovation districts work.
Rowena said: “The fastest growing sectors of our economy share the belief that collaborations and open innovation are the key to economic advantage. A belief in the power of partnerships and the importance of community centric design, which work across organisational and functional boundaries, and champions people and place above bricks and mortar are some of the areas I’ll be discussing in the session. I am very much looking forward to AUDE 2017 and hearing the thoughts and views of those in the sector.”
