Metronet (UK) Partners with LDeX Group to Provide Secure Colocation Services

Metronet (UK) is pleased to announce their partnership with the LDeX Group at it’s Manchester data centre LDeX2 at Trafford Park, providing customers with super secure colocation services.

The company already operates a data centre in London; LDeX2 is their first one outside the city. The 20,000 sq ft facility in Trafford Park delivers colocation, network connectivity and media satellite streaming to a large range of customers from its enterprise grade facility.

Colocation allows businesses to remotely store and backup their data in the Cloud, giving resilience and security in the event of an outage or disaster situation. Within the LDeX2 data centre, Metronet (UK) customers will have their own private MPLS network with increased storage capability and improved uptime; connecting to the Internet at faster speeds and with reduced latency. The data is transferred privately; it never connects to the public Internet and therefore provides additional security.
