The Well-Architected Framework has been developed to guide developers, architects, and sysops as they design, build, migrate or optimise workloads to run secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for their applications and services. Based on five pillars — operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimisation — the Framework provides a consistent approach for customers and partners to evaluate architectures, and implement designs that will scale over time.

15:15 – 15:45 Best practices for architecting on AWS: Liz Duke (Solution Architect, AWS)

15:45 – 16:15 Customer use-case: Jeff Fox (E-commerce Development Manager, Regatta) and Chris Merrett (Senior Consultant, Steamhaus).
