For the second ReThinkX event of the 2017-18 season, we want to bring your attention to the burgeoning new field of VR and how it can help transform how we see healthcare (literally!)
VR devices have exploded in popularity in the past decade, and now that the technology is sufficiently advanced and affordable, the devices are likely to become more and more ubiquitous throughout our lives, much like mobile phones at the turn of the millennium.
The implications for healthcare are staggering. The ideas of entirely virtual first aid-courses or medical degrees are no longer far-flung fantasies. Patients could soon be using VR in their physiotherapy, or in their psychotherapy to overcome fears and phobias, or to manage their pain. Virtual reality is here, and it’s here to stay.
Join us on the 7th of November at the newly launched Bright Building, to find out more from our panel of expert speakers. Attendance, as with all ReThinkX events is entirely free, and tickets are available on the link above.
