Pechekucha Night Manchester is back for another round of 10 quick fire talks from inspirational speakers, this time on the theme of 'Migration'!
The event will be streamed live on Zoom in a webinar format. This means the audience will not be on camera but can participate in the chat and through submitting questions.
At a time when movements are becoming ever more restricted, be it by pandemic or policy, PechaKucha Manchester explore the stories of those whose lives have been shaped by migration. In solidarity with the black community and the Black Lives Matter movement, to come together to support and share how we can be better allies in the continuing fight against racism.
This event, in association with People's History Museum, bring together a host of incredible speakers, including campaigners, designers, illustrators, researchers and coders to talk around the theme of migration using the 20x20 format: they have 20 images, 20 seconds per image, no stopping.
Also Pechakucha Manchester will be showcasing artwork from our special month-long activity to create a 'Flag for Manchester' led by Chebo Besa.
