Last year we announced our Joint Venture with Cisco to create the new Mi-IDEA Innovation Centre on our Central Campus - designed to accelerate the growth of the digital sector in the North of England.

Mi-IDEA provides the ideal supportive environment and tailored services for early-stage technology companies (working within Smart Cities, IoT, Digital Health and Digital Creative) to rapidly scale.

If you are an innovative Digital Health start-up looking for the right partners and support services to take your business to the next level, then join us for our next event at Citylabs 1.0 on the 1st of March.

What can you expect from the event?

Come along to find out how Mi-IDEA can help your start-up evolve into a thriving businesses.

The event will talk about our unique Post Accelerator programme and partner ecosystem, including exclusive access to the University of Manchester's Connected Health Cities programme, https://www.connectedhealthcities.org/ which uses new intelligence sources to transform the delivery of health and social care services.

Professor John Ainsworth (Director of Connected Health Cities) will be joining us to explain how Mi-IDEA will support start-ups to develop, test and validate their products and services using real world health data. He will also explain how resident companies can access to domain specific data analytics capabilities as well as expert advice on the design and development of their services from our university and clinical partners.

Alongside John Ainsworth, you will also have the chance to hear from MSP start-ups who have successfully developed their businesses through these vital partnerships, and Cisco UKI Business Development Manager, Matt Cooling, who will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the centre.
