In this chapter of the HOME GROWN programme we look at Microgreens.
Microgreens are tiny plants, larger than sprouts, grown to just an inch or two in height, then harvested. The flavor of microgreens is much more intense than that of full-grown plants, which makes microgreens ideal for garnishes and a tangy, spicy addition to salads. Microgreens can be grown from the seeds of most salad greens or herbs, but the spicy and colorful plants are most widely grown.
In this webinar I will illustrate the process of germination, and growing a selection of Microgreens. For a acompaniying GROW GUIDE visit our events page https://mspl.co.uk/events/home-grown-microgreens/.Register
