Join the Manchester Urban Institute and Austin-based Smart Cities expert Chelsea Collier, of digi.city and Smart Cities Connect, discussing the Manchester Model and opportunities for shared learning and future collaboration for smart & sustainable cities. She will be joined by academics from the Manchester Urban Institute and Phil Swan, CIO of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

Global Smart Cities & The Manchester Model

Simon Industrial Fellow Chelsea Collier has travelled the world identifying models and best practices in emerging and established smart cities. She will present what attracted her to Manchester, what she has learned in her Fellowship exploration and what makes Manchester unique in this scope. She will share perspective on practical applications of smart city research and recommendations for global and practical applications.
