About this event

Please note this event is offered exclusively to MSP customers

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is the government department responsible for helping UK companies develop their exports. They have teams of advisers across the UK who work with companies on a one to one basis, providing advice and guidance on exports, and highlighting opportunities and events. DIT also has an international network of offices who can advise UK companies on doing business in overseas markets and help identify local clients and partners.

On 11th August Giles Jones, International Trade Adviser for the Department for International Trade, will be delivering virtual one-to-one sessions to discuss how the DIT can support your export growth and help you identify international opportunities or overcome barriers. You can also find out more information on DIT's UK and International events and funding programmes.

As businesses respond to challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, DIT can support companies seeking to explore export opportunities and generate growth in new international markets.

Working closely with UK Export Finance, the UK Government’s export credit agency, DIT can advise on how companies can access export working capital, insurance policies and direct lending facilities.

Giles is also able to signpost companies to the various support packages the UK Government has announced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note: the sessions will take place via phone or video conference call.
