At this panel discussion, investment representatives from Campus CapitalADV and Tech North will explore how Venture Capital investors are breaking out of the traditional approach of being geographically close to their investments and what impact this has for the national tech ecosystem.

Until recently, most VC funds were limited to placing investment within a narrow radius of their headquarters. However, we are starting to see a shift in this tradition with certain VCs adapting their strategy to make nation-wide investments.

The panel discussion will allow us to explore this shift in more detail, its implication for the ecosystem and the factors that facilitate or are a barrier to this change.

The panelists, Adaobi Adibe, Laura Bond and James Bedford will also be sharing best fundraising practices for the founders in the audience who are looking to raise their next round of investment with angel investor and entrepreneur Rosie Moth leading the discussion.
